Festival of the "Schuhplattler" folk groups

Experience the vibrant atmosphere of traditional Schuhplattler groups from across South Tyrol on Sunday, July 6th, at the mountain huts in the Ratschings-Jaufen hiking area! Starting around 11:30 AM, each participating hut will host a lively group – with rhythmic clapping, jumping, and cheerful yodeling!

Here’s where you’ll find them:

• Alpine hut Wasserfalleralm: Wipptoler Plattlgitschn
• Summit Mountain Club: Schuachplattlergitschn Vahrn
• Alpine hut Rinneralm: Schuhplattlergruppe Villnöss
• Rotating between huts: Schuhplattler Lajen
  (At the alpine hut Kalcheralm, the “Almtanz” event takes place – no Schuhplattler group there.)

Enjoy infectious music, traditional dances, and delicious South Tyrolean alpine specialties. The huts are easily accessible by cable car – come on up and join the fun!
